It has been such a successful start to school for Malorie Blackman class. They have been so busy settling into school life. They have made new friends with all of their classmates, learnt lots of new things and chosen an amazing author to name their class after!

Spring term Learning - The 3 Billy Goats Gruff!
We have been busy learning the story of The 3 Billy Goats Gruff. After we all decided upon the actions for the different parts of the story, we then practised telling the story using the actions. Now we know the story really well and can tell it to our friends. We told it to the families who came to our reading club after school last Wednesday!
We all enjoyed making bridges using lots of different materials. Then we tested our bridges using the small world animals and cars. Our bridges were really strong, as you'll see from the photos!
One of the children in our class made a fantastic troll using the Knex kit!
