It is wonderful to be able to start Gardening Club again in Autumn Term 2021. Over the time that we have not been able to run the club, the garden has fallen into a very sad state, so our first job is to weed, clear and tidy. After that, we will be planting for the spring and summer months. Many thanks to everyone who has gifted us their Morrisons 'It's Good to Grow' vouchers - we have been able to buy new gardening gloves and other items which will be very useful to us. Thanks also to Somerset County, who have given us a large sack of daffodil bulbs to plant. We will be making sure that all of the planters around school are refreshed and ready to look bright and cheerful when the growing season arrives. We have a lot of hard work ahead of us, but we are an enthusiastic and hard-working team, so we will have the garden back to it's beautiful self very soon.
