Somerset Bridge Values
Aspire to be the best we can in our behaviour, our learning and our hopes and dreams.
Brave to challenge ourselves and take risks so that we achieve the best we can.
Care for our school environment, so that we maintain a safe, sustainable and healthy community and set an example for life choices both within and outside of school.
Collaborate with all members of the community – pupils, parents, staff, governors, neighbouring schools and organisations in the local area - ensuring that all contributions are encouraged and valued.

Miss Lockwood

AA Milne

This term, we chose AA Milne to be our class name.  We chose this author because he has written some of our favourite books and some amusing poems.

In whole class reading, we have learned the first verse of his Teddy Bear poem and later in the year we will look at his other poems and stories.

Stone Age

Our History topic is the Stone Age.  We have found out when the Stone Age happened in history and looked at some artefacts.  Following our newspaper unit of work in English, we wrote a report about the (imagined) discovery of a Stone Age site in our school grounds.

Cave Art

In Art, we found out about cave art and created our own on the school playground and paper, using chalk.
