Summer Term Week 5- Geography Biomes
The children researched different biomes this week. They worked in a group to gather information to produce an informative poster which then then used to present to the class; they all stood at the front of the class to present and provided us with a wealth of information.

Planting Bulbs Into Our Raised Bed
We have all been given a raised bed outside of our classrooms and a range of bulbs to plant. All of the children planted a bulb which will hopefully begin to sprout and grow in the Spring. We shall all be watching carefully for the first signs of life - hopefully they will all grow and we will have a colourful array of flowers outside of our classroom.
Anti-Bullying Week
This week, we have been discussing the different types of bullying, the roles people can play in bullying and what changes we can make in order to unite against bullying. We have linked this with our RE work on Judaism and decided to make anti-bullying scrolls - based on the Torah. Here are a few pictures of the children enjoying this activity.
Thank you for all of your donations for Children In Need 2020 - we filled 4 Pudsey faces in Niagara Falls class.

Niagara Falls
After researching different wonders of the world, we voted and Niagara Falls was the winner. We are named after the famous waterfalls in Canada. The documents below show some of the work the children produced as part of their research.
Welcome to Year 6!
I'm really looking forward to welcoming you all back to school in September. 2020 has been a very different year and I can't wait to find out what you have all been doing and getting yourselves up to! Year 6 is an exciting year - you are now the oldest in the school and you will be role models to the rest of the children. We have lots of interesting topics to cover as well, starting with WW2 this term.
I look forward to seeing all of your smiling faces and getting to know you all
