Wellbeing Awards
Our staff work very hard to promote the positive mental health and wellbeing of our pupils and I am delighted to let you know that our hard work has been rewarded. We have received awards for the Belonging and Relationship Pillars of Public Health’s Somerset Wellbeing Framework.
The Quality Assurance Group, who awarded the prizes, felt that our pupils were happy, engaged, safe and cared for in an environment that they love and respect. They felt that the school provides a hugely caring and nurturing environment, where positive relationship play a central role. Below you can see the full text of the awards we are awaiting to receive in school. As soon as they arrive, they will be proudly displayed in our school reception area.
Gardening Club News
Earlier in the year, we planted some pumpkin seeds in preparation for the Big Soup Share. We had one pumpkin that survived the elements and a group of children used their cooking skills to turn it into some delicious soup- this will then be shared and enjoyed by the children and residents of the local care home.
We have raised a staggering £40.00 at the Summer Fayre and the garden and poly-tunnel are full of fruit and vegetables that we are enjoying.
We have also just been awarded our Level 4 Gardening Award with the RHS.
