Welcome to Rachel Carson Class. 

The children had the opportunity to vote for their class name. We decided on 'Rachel Carson Class.' Rachel Carson was a well-known marine biologist. She was one of the first scientists to recognise the impact of chemicals on animals, particularly in the sea. 

During the last week, we have had some new visitors to the class. We have been lucky enough to have some eggs from farmlink. We have been waiting patiently for the eggs to hatch. Today, we had our first egg to hatch.
