Special Educational Needs & Disability

From September 2014, guidance about provision of Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) has changed.  The following documents will help you to understand the changes and how they impact on families at our school.

Please speak to Mrs Isabel Turner (SENDCO) on 01278 422100 or office@somersetbridge.school if you would like to discuss any issues relating to SEND.

Somerset's Graduated Response Tool.

Somerset’s Graduated Response Tool now replaces the Somerset Core Standards. This has been co-produced with stakeholders from education, health, social care, parent carers and support service teams.

Somerset’s Graduated Response Tool sets out the barriers to learning that children and young people may have and the strategies and provision that could be in place to support them.

Click on the link below to visit the webpage.  The Graduated Response Tool can be opened from this page.
