Our trip to Bath
The children had a fantastic time during our trip to the Roman Baths in Bath on 4th October. They enjoyed dressing up as Romans, creating their own mosaics and discovering what Romans ate. It was a very busy day with lots to see and do. Several members of the public commented on their excellent behaviour, well done Y3 Dahl. The children would like to say a big thank you to all the parent helpers who came along to support the children. We couldn't have done it without you!
In Maths the children are building on their knowledge from Year 2. They have been working on place value and addition and subtraction. Later in the term they will be focusing on multiplication. They work on units for a longer period of time to ensure their understanding is embedded.
We are learning about the Romans this term. The children used the ipads to research Roman mosaics and then set about producing their own. Well done Dahl class.
