It is hard to believe that it is nearly the end of your children's first year in school! We have had such an exciting half term and I know Miss Webber and I will be really sad to see the children move on to Year one. We have met lots of interesting and unusual animals this half term, your children have proved themselves to be very brave as you'll see below!
We have had another busy half term with lots of learning, exciting activities and lots of fun! The children have been making fantastic progress with their writing this half term, please do come into class to see what they have been doing - I'm so proud of them!
We were visited by two storytellers recently and your children behaved beautifully for them, they sat quietly and listened to the story and when it was their turn joined in with the story really well. I hope you like the photos of the 'Keep 'em waiting King!' story.
Spring 2 2017
What a busy half term we have had! We have been learning lots of new things whilst having fun and making lots of progress.
Spring 1, 2017
We have had a busy half term learning all about Jack and his amazing beanstalk! The children have learnt and acted out the story which they thoroughly enjoyed. We have been planting our own bean seeds which have grown well in our lovely warm classroom.
Magical Maths and Wonderful Writing
We have all had fun with our learning this half term with some magical maths and wonderful writing happening every day!
We have been having lots of fun in school celebrating Christmas, we hope that you have a wonderful time at Christmas and look forward to seeing you in the New Year!
Fun in the classroom over the Autumn Term!
Where has the time gone over the last few weeks? Time has flown and Christmas will soon be with us. We have had lots of fun with our learning and here are just some of the many exciting things we have been doing. With Maths we have been using the numicon games to help us to count and order numbers. We have used the musical instruments to create some great music and like little red hens we have been busy baking bread. I'm sure you'll see from the photographs just how much we are enjoying our learning at school!
'Children in Need'
We had lots of fun raising money in school for 'Children in Need'. Everyone came to school in their pyjamas which was strange, but lots of fun! We also played board games with the older children in Year 4 which was fantastic. We enjoyed it so much that we may be doing it again very soon!
Welcome to our class page. Our class have had a very exciting few weeks and already it feels like the children have been at school for months! The children have really bonded and settled in well showing that they are ready to learn. I hope you'll enjoy the photographs and see from them that a lot of our learning is through playing and having fun! Please feel free to come in and have a look at your child's new classroom. The best time to pop in is after school at 3.15 pm when I will be available to answer any of your questions and show you around.
