The children had a lovely time competing in their houses for Sports Day. Thankfully it didn't continue to rain and we all had a great time. Thank you to all the parents that attended.
The class had a great time with the rest of Key Stage One on our trip Minehead. We enjoyed the journey on the steam train, and it was lovely to see all the children making sandcastles on the beach.
The trip to Greatwood -we had a great day at Greatwood, making art in the style of Andy Goldsworthy and going on walks around the woods!
Storytelling- in class this term we have started to having a storytelling session in Guided reading, which involves the children getting dressed up and acting out a story.
Arcimboldo Art! In class this term the children learned how to create pictures in the style of Arcimboldo, using a range of fruit and vegetables.
Kingston Exotic visit. The children had the opportunity to see and hold a range of snakes and lizards. It was great to see many of the children being brave enough to hold or stroke the animals and we all learnt a lot about these exotic creatures!
Trip to @ Bristol. We all had a fantastic day at @Bristol and it was lovely to see the children exploring all the different activities that were available. They were all very excited and we were really proud of how well they behaved throughout the whole day!
A nice Christmas meal was enjoyed by all! Merry Christmas!
Our dress rehearsal was successful and the children did really well!
We had a real musical treat participating in the Steel Drum workshop.
To add excitement to our poetry we were delighted to meet Wilma the Witch!
In Computing we have been learning about how to create movement using a range of different programs.
This term in Geography we have been learning about maps and how to use compasses.
To help us write a report we thought it would be fun to visit the Co-op.
This term we had a lot of fun learning about healthy foods with the Smoothie Bike!
