What a fantastic trip to the Brecon Beacons we had. All the children made it to the top of the mountain; it was hard work getting up there and we needed to stop, rest and admire the view along the way. The weather was amazing as were our team of BXM leaders. Well done to everyone.
As part of our learning about the Stone Age, the children lit fires with a striker and flint. First, the children gathered dry leaves and twigs to catch the spark from the flint. They worked together to build up a small fire. It was great fun!
This half term, we are focussing on time. We helped each other practice minutes to and minutes past.
This term we have been finding out about the Romans.
In Art, we have designed and made our own Roman Shield. We then learned commands in Latin and practised formations on the school playground.
In PE, we have been developing our throwing and catching skills.
