This week at school we introduced the children to Pivot Animator.
Some children really liked this learning tool, and if you would like to play with it at home, you can download it from here for free.
We wish you all a very happy Easter holiday! See you on Tuesday 23rd April!
World Book Day
On World Book Day, we wore exciting costumes and shared our favourite books! Mrs Gray came to read a story to us in Disney class, and Miss Anderson read to Potter class. In the afternoon, we had a super assembly, and one of us won a prize for best home-made costume ... can you guess who it was?
We have been in school for one half-term now and have settled in nicely, by making sure we keep very busy! We have made new friends and been practising sharing and taking turns in our play. We are getting very good at tidying up and putting things away, and generally being good helpers to each other.
In our learning we have been focusing on Phase 2 phonics and are now beginning to learn the trickier Phase 3 sounds. We have also been concentrating on really understanding the numbers from 0-5 in lots of different ways.
We have learned all about The Little Red Hen, and now we are learning a new story - Baby Bear and the Bee! We look forward to sharing it with you at home.
We are also now preparing for our Christmas production 'Christmas Counts' which we hope you will enjoy in December!
