The Brick and Tile Museum
We enjoyed our trip to the Brick and Tile Museum. Our topic this term has been ‘All about Bridgwater’ so we visited the museum to learn about how bricks and tiles were made. We had a tour of the bottle shaped kiln and made our own tile!
Canal Art
As part of our ‘All about Bridgwater’ topic, we designed and made our own pieces of canal art. Here are some examples of our plates:
In Science this term, we have been learning about Sound. During this lesson, we investigated how sounds change and travel over distances. We experimented by making our own telephones.

Science Week 2019 - The digestive system

To celebrate Science Week, we carried out a messy but interesting experiment to help us understand how the human digestive system works. Our Science Topic in Spring Term 2 is Animals including humans and we have been learning about the different parts of the digestive system. The experiment allowed us to see how food is swallowed, then broken down in the stomach and finally how waste leaves our bodies.
